Safety is built into our operations at the instructor level. Our team includes FRACO certified swing stage instructors and installers, as well as frame/brace scaffolding and systems scaffolding safety instructors. These are not just certifications we hold but credentials our people actively teach.

We have over 20 team members, with the capacity to run multiple crews on concurrent projects across our four-state service area. We are a merit-based contractor, with advancement tied to skill, certifications, and on-the-job performance.

We self-perform all masonry restoration work with our own crews and equipment. For specialty trades outside our core scope, such as lime plastering, window restoration, or historic carpentry, we bring in trusted subcontractors with proven expertise in those disciplines.

Our team members hold FRACO certifications for swing stage installation and instruction, frame/brace scaffolding and systems scaffolding safety instructor credentials, lime putty restoration certifications (through manufacturer training programs), stone patching credentials, and product certifications from US Heritage, Sika, Tremco, and Prosoco. We also have certified deck coatings, sealant replacement, and air barrier installation professionals on staff.

We are a specialty masonry restoration contractor that self-performs all masonry work with our own trained crews. General contractors typically subcontract masonry work out, adding cost and removing direct quality control. Our team holds product and trade certifications that most general contractors simply do not carry.

TNT Tuckpointing was founded in 1993, giving us over 30 years of experience in commercial masonry restoration and historic preservation. That depth of experience means we have seen and solved virtually every type of masonry deterioration a commercial building can present.

We work with commercial building owners to develop long-lasting repairs within their budget constraints. That often means prioritizing the most critical work items first and phasing projects over multiple periods to match cash flow. Every project includes a closeout package with final photography, a written warranty, and product data sheets.

Approximately half of all our work is historic preservation. We employ lime-putty-certified restoration professionals and use historically accurate materials and methods to ensure repairs are structurally sound and consistent with the original construction. We work regularly with preservation consultants, architects, and engineers on projects requiring the highest standards of historic accuracy.

Our commercial projects range from $2,500 to the millions. Whether it is a targeted repair on a smaller commercial property or a multi-phase historic courthouse restoration, we work with owners to develop lasting repairs within their budget constraints and can phase work over multiple periods to match cash flow.

TNT was founded by Tom and Tracy Smyser in 1993. Their son Josh Smyser and his wife Megan Smyser took over in 2009 and lead the company today as an owner-operated, second-generation family business.
