Garfield Elementary School

At Garfield Elementary School, 902 E. 29th Street in Davenport, the top of the wall needed work.

We repaired the parapet coping stones and installed through-wall flashing, then replaced brick, tuckpointed and replaced sealants. Coping and flashing at the top of a wall decide whether the wall below stays dry. Once the top lets water in, it runs down through everything.

We worked from scaffolding over the main entrance, set up so students and staff could still get in and out safely while the work went on.
