A national cemetery entrance should look as dignified as the place it serves.

The entrance to Keokuk National Cemetery at 1701 J Street is framed by three limestone pillars with a bronze VA seal and an iron gate.

We restored the pillars with stone patching, concrete repair and mortar joint repair. The goal was simple: sound stone, tight joints and an entrance that looks as dignified as the place it serves.

Work at a national cemetery calls for care and respect for the families and veterans who visit.

This is the kind of work we do on public buildings across Iowa: stone repair, concrete repair and tuckpointing.
