FAQs
Can I visit an active TNT job site to see your work quality firsthand?
In many cases, yes. Contact us to discuss scheduling a visit to an active project site, subject to the building owner's permission and site safety requirements. Seeing work in progress is one of the best ways to evaluate a contractor.
Does TNT provide progress updates during a project?
Yes. We keep owners informed throughout the project with regular updates and photography documenting progress. Our 20+ person team and hands-on project management ensure you always know where things stand.
What is the smallest project TNT will take on?
We take on commercial projects starting at approximately $2,500. We work with building owners to prioritize critical items and phase work within available budgets. We are commercial only and do not perform residential work.
What is the largest project TNT has completed?
We have completed projects ranging up to millions of dollars in value, with courthouses and schools among the largest by dollar value. The portfolio showcases a range of project scales, and we are happy to discuss specific examples that match your scope.
How do I find portfolio projects in my building type or market?
The portfolio is organized so you can browse by building type, including churches, schools, courthouses, commercial properties, and more. If you do not see your exact building type, contact us and we will share relevant examples directly.
Does TNT photograph and document every project?
Yes. We document every project with photography as part of our standard closeout process. This documentation is included in the closeout package delivered to the owner and often appears in the portfolio with client permission.
Do you have examples of historic building restoration?
Yes. Roughly half of our work is historic preservation, including churches, courthouses, and government buildings that require period-appropriate materials and techniques. The portfolio page features many of these projects with detailed photography.
What documentation does TNT provide after a project is completed?
Every project receives a closeout package that includes photography, the written warranty, and product data sheets. When project specifications require formal submittals, those are provided as well.
Does TNT provide a written warranty on completed work?
Yes. We provide a 2-year written workmanship warranty on every project, and supplier warranties on materials extend longer. In over 30 years of business, warranty claims have been virtually non-existent.
Can I speak with a past client as a reference?
Absolutely. We maintain a past customer list available upon request, and we are happy to connect you with a reference relevant to your building type or project scope. You can also read our Google reviews for unsolicited feedback.
Are the before-and-after photos on your site from real TNT projects?
Yes, every photo on our website is from an actual project performed by our own crews. We self-perform all masonry restoration work and document projects with photography throughout.
Do you have examples of work on buildings similar to mine?
Very likely. Our portfolio spans over 30 years of commercial masonry restoration across Iowa, Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Illinois, including churches, courthouses, schools, government buildings, and a wide range of commercial properties. Browse by building type on the portfolio page or contact us and we will point you to the most relevant examples.
