University Towers at 2320 Lincoln Way in Ames is a high-rise residential building near the Iowa State campus.

On a building this tall, getting crews safely to every floor is the biggest part of the plan. We used a mast climber, a powered work platform that rises up the face of the building on a fixed mast, with protective netting at the upper floors.

With that setup we completed facade repairs over the full height of the tower. A mast climber gives masons a stable, roomy platform with materials right at hand, which makes for better work on every floor.

This is the kind of work we do on commercial and residential buildings in Ames.
