St. Thomas More Church
Masonry staining on the addition at St. Thomas More Church in Coralville, Iowa.

Stain changes the color of masonry without the peeling problems of paint.
When St. Thomas More Church at 3000 12th Avenue in Coralville added on, the addition was finished in plain gray concrete block. The parish wanted it to look finished.
Masonry stain is a good tool for that. Unlike paint, stain soaks into the block instead of sitting on top of it, so it doesn't peel or trap moisture behind a film.
We stained the block exterior to give the addition a finished look that ties it into the rest of the church.
This is the kind of work we do on churches across Iowa.
