How TNT Tuckpointing Transformed Its Accounting with Sage Intacct Construction

Bangert, Inc. produced a short case-study video on how TNT Tuckpointing rebuilt its accounting operation around Sage Intacct Construction, replacing an aging Sage 100 Contractor system that had stopped keeping up with a growing commercial restoration company.
Why we moved off Sage 100
The problem was never the software's age. It was that our financial picture always lagged the work. Job costing landed after the fact, the same data got keyed in more than once, and the accounting system could not talk to the tools our project managers work in every day. For a specialty subcontractor running multi-phase projects across several states, that lag gets expensive. Decisions end up being made on numbers that are already stale.
What changed
Sage Intacct Construction changed the timing more than anything else: real-time job costing, a cloud platform the team can reach from any jobsite, and an open API that connects to Procore for project management and Salesforce for the sales pipeline, so the same information stops being entered twice.
The deployment moved quickly too. From decision to go-live took just under two months through Bangert's Enablement and Deployment program. We covered that timeline separately in our write-up of the two-month deployment.
Josh also talked through the decision at length, including why TNT invested in Intacct at roughly $3M in revenue, on Episode 31 of The Unofficial Sage Intacct podcast.
