Meet Jason Burg

If you’ve been around TNT for more than five minutes, you’ve probably noticed Jason Burg. He may be quiet, but his experience and presence speak volumes. Jason brings a lifetime of masonry know-how, a sharp eye for detail, and a steady calm that keeps projects—and people—moving in the right direction.

Jason grew up in the family trade, learning tuckpointing at Burg-Miller Tuckpointing under his grandfather’s watch. From 1997 to 2005, he served in the Marine Corps Reserve, carrying forward the discipline and grit that now show up in his work every day. After returning to the trade full-time, he launched his own company, Cities Masonry Restoration, Inc., in 2007. Years of running his own operation gave him the range to step seamlessly into project manager, foreman, or superintendent roles whenever needed.

Jason joined TNT Tuckpointing in 2022 and has become a cornerstone of our team. He’s a master in color matching and historic preservation and leads our staining division with the kind of precision that only comes from decades of hands-on experience. If something needs to be matched, blended, restored, or simply made to look right, Jason is the one you call.

Outside the job, Jason is a husband, father of two, and proud grandpa—with one more grandbaby on the way. And around TNT, he’s more than just part of the crew—he’s family, literally. He’s also the cousin of TNT owner Josh Smyser.We’re better because Jason is here, and we’re lucky to have him on the team.
