Building Connections Across the Country

October was one of those months that makes you grateful to be part of this industry. It was a full schedule — and a great one — spent learning, connecting, and building relationships with people who are shaping the future of restoration and masonry.
I started the month in Boston, MA, attending the Sealant, Waterproofing, and Restoration Institute (SWRI) Winter Technical Meeting. SWRI continues to raise the bar for technical excellence and integrity in our trade. I always walk away from those meetings with fresh ideas and respect for the level of craftsmanship represented in that room.
From there, I headed to Oklahoma City for my first-ever meeting with The Masonry Society (TMS). This group plays a major role in developing the standards and codes that guide our work, and it was an honor to sit among so many experts who care deeply about the science behind what we do.
Finally, I closed the month at the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) Fall Technical Meeting. The conversations there always bridge the gap between practical application and engineering — something I value highly at TNT.
“October was about building — not just structures, but relationships.”
I had a great time meeting new colleagues, making valuable connections, and catching up with old friends. It’s energizing to be surrounded by people who share the same drive for quality and innovation that defines our industry.
Here’s to carrying that momentum forward into the rest of the year.
